DEFINITIONS AND TERMS
Altanet – is the commercial name of ALTANET S.R.L., with registered office in Craiova, Str. Amilcar Sandulescu, no. 14, Bl. A31, et. 3, ap. 14, Dolj county, with serial number in the Trade Register J16 / 1373 / 2003, unique fiscal registration code RO / 15748710.
Seller – Altanet
Buyer
It can be any natural person over 16 years of age or a legal person or any legal entity that creates an Account on the Site and places an Order.
Client
It can be any natural person over 16 years of age or legal entity that has or obtains access to the CONTENT, through any means of communication made available by Altanet (electronic, telephone, etc.) or based on an existing user agreement between Altanet and it and which requires the creation and use of an Account.
User
Any natural person over 16 years of age or legal entity registered on the Site, who, by completing the Account creation process, has agreed to the site-specific clauses in the General Terms and Conditions section.
Nickname
Nickname by which a particular User/Client/Buyer can add Content to the Site. The nickname is associated with the User/Client/Buyer's information on the Site under the name "Username".
Account
The section of the Site consisting of an e-mail address and a password that allows the Buyer to submit the Order and which contains information about the Client/Buyer and the Buyer's history on the Site (Orders, tax invoices, Goods warranties, etc.). The User is responsible for and will ensure that all information entered when creating the Account is correct, complete and up-to-date.
Favorites
Section of the Account that allows the Buyer/User to create Lists of Goods and Services that they wish to track for a possible purchase using the service offered by the Seller to track Goods and Services by receiving Commercial Communications from him.
List
The Favorites section where the Buyer/User can add Goods or Services that he/she wishes to follow with a view to a possible purchase and which, subsequently, he/she can delete or add to the shopping cart ("My Cart").
Lists can be:
- Public: any Client/Buyer/User can view the Buyer/User's List if he/she has shared it on social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Google+) or if he/she accesses the Buyer/User's public profile on the Site. The Lists are public, and the Buyer/User has the possibility to set them as private at any time, directly from his/her Account, Favorites section;
- Private: these can only be viewed by the Account holder. The Buyer/User has the option to set them as public at any time, directly from their Account, Favorites section.
My cart
Section of the Account that allows the Buyer/User to add Goods or Services that he/she wishes to purchase at the time of addition or at a later time; if the Goods or Services are not purchased at the time of addition by placing the Order, the Buyer/User will benefit from the service offered by the Seller to track the Goods and Services by receiving Commercial Communications from him/her.
Site
The online store hosted at the web address altanet.ro and its subdomains.
Order
An electronic document that acts as a form of communication between the Seller and the Buyer through which the Buyer transmits to the Seller, through the Site, his intention to purchase Goods and Services from the Site.
Goods and Services
Any product or service listed on the Site, including the products and services mentioned in the Order, to be provided by the Seller to the Buyer as a result of the concluded Contract.
Campaign
The action of displaying for commercial purposes, a finite number of Goods and/or Services with a limited and predefined stock, for a limited period of time established by the Seller.
Contract
Represents the distance contract concluded between the Seller and the Buyer, without the simultaneous physical presence of the Seller and the Buyer.
Content – represents:
- all information on the Site that can be visited, viewed or otherwise accessed using electronic equipment;
- the content of any e-mail sent to Buyers by the Seller via electronic means and/or any other available means of communication;
- any information communicated by any means by an employee/collaborator of the Seller, the Buyer, according to the contact information, whether or not specified by the latter;
- information related to the Goods and/or Services and/or the rates charged by the Seller during a certain period;
- information related to the Goods and/or Services and/or the rates charged by a third party with whom the Seller has concluded partnership contracts, during a certain period;
- data relating to the Seller, or other privileged data of the Seller.
Review
An evaluation written by the owner or beneficiary of a Good or Service, an evaluation written based on personal experience and their ability to make qualitative comments and to say whether or not the Good or Service meets the specifications mentioned by the manufacturer.
Rating
Way of expressing the degree of satisfaction of a User/Client/Buyer with a product. The rating is expressed in the form of stars, each Good can receive a score from one star to five stars. This degree of satisfaction will always be associated with the review written by the User/Client/Buyer on a Good or Service.
Comment
Critical appreciation or observation, on the subject of a Review or other comment.
Question
The address formula to other Users/Customers/Buyers for the purpose of obtaining information about the Goods or Services on that page.
Response
Written information that is transmitted to the User/Client/Buyer who has asked a Question on the Site, on the page of a specific Good. The answer represents an explanation offered by a User/Client/Buyer to another User/Client/Buyer within the framework of a discussion.

Commercial Communications
Any type of message sent (such as: e-mail/SMS/telephone/mobile push/webpush/etc.) containing general and thematic information, information regarding similar or complementary products to those you have purchased, information regarding offers or promotions, information regarding Goods and Services added to the “Account/My Cart” section or the “Account/Favorites” section as well as other commercial communications such as market research and opinion polls.
Transaction
Collection or reimbursement of an amount resulting from the sale of a Good and/or Service by Altanet to the Buyer, by using the services of the card processor approved by the Seller, regardless of the delivery method.
Green stamp duty
The value expressed in lei, paid by the Seller to the company authorized to take over the collection, transport and recovery/recycling operations of waste electrical and electronic equipment, as provided for by the legislation in force.
Specifications
All specifications and/or descriptions of the Goods and Services as set out in their description.
1-click payment
The payment service provided by the payment processor integrated into the Site, made available to Customers, Users and/or Buyers through the Site in order to make an online card payment.
Token
Unique encrypted number associated with the Buyer's payment card after making an online payment, after activating the PaybyClick service and which can be used by the Buyer to authorize Transactions through the PaybyClick service.
CONTRACTUAL DOCUMENTS
By registering an Order on the Site, the Buyer agrees to the form of communication (telephone or e-mail) through which the Seller conducts its commercial operations.
The notification received by the Buyer after placing the Order is for information purposes only and does not constitute acceptance of the Order. This notification is made electronically (e-mail) or by telephone.
For justified reasons, the Seller reserves the right to change the quantity of the Goods and/or Services in the Order. If it changes the quantity of the Goods and/or Services in the Order, it will notify the Buyer at the e-mail address or telephone number provided to the Seller when placing the Order and will return the amount paid.
The contract is considered concluded between the Seller and the Buyer upon receipt by the Buyer from the Seller, via e-mail and/or SMS, of the notification of shipment of the Order.
For Orders to be delivered to Altanet showrooms and delivery points, the prices and reservations of the Goods and/or Services are valid for 72 (seventy-two) hours from the registration of the Order by the Buyer.
The document and information made available by the Seller on the Site will form the basis of the Contract, supplemented by the warranty certificate issued by the Seller or a supplier thereof for the purchased Goods.
ONLINE SALES POLICY
Access to place an Order is allowed to any User/Buyer.
For justified reasons, Altanet reserves the right to restrict the User/Buyer's access to place an Order and/or to some of the accepted payment methods, if it considers that based on the User/Buyer's conduct or activity on the Site, his/her actions could harm Altanet in any way. In any of these cases, the User/Buyer may contact Altanet's Customer Relations Department to be informed of the reasons that led to the application of the aforementioned measures.
Communication with the Seller can be achieved through direct interaction with him or through the addresses mentioned in the "contact" section of the Site.
The seller has the freedom to manage the information received without having to provide justification for it.
In the event of an unusually high volume of traffic coming from an internet network, Altanet reserves the right to ask Users/Buyers to manually enter captcha validation codes, in order to protect the information on the Site.
Altanet may publish on the Site information about Goods and/or Services and/or promotions practiced by it or by any other third party with whom Altanet has concluded partnership contracts, within a certain period of time and within the limit of available stock.
All prices for Goods presented on the Site are expressed in lei (RON) and include VAT, while prices for Services presented on the Site are in RON or EUR and do not include VAT.
Under the conditions provided by law, the price of the Electronic Goods displayed on the Site includes the Green Stamp Tax. If the User/Buyer requests details regarding the exact amount added to the price of the Good, he/she shall contact the Altanet Customer Relations Department.
In the case of online payments, the Seller is not/cannot be held responsible for any additional costs incurred by the Buyer, including but not limited to currency conversion fees applied by the issuing bank of his card, if the issuing currency differs from RON. The Buyer bears sole responsibility for this action.
All information used to describe the Goods and/or Services available on the Site (static / dynamic images / multimedia presentations / etc.) does not represent a contractual obligation on the part of the Seller, they are used exclusively for presentation purposes.
After 14 (fourteen) days from the purchase of a Good or Service, the Buyer will be asked to register a Review related to the Good or Service purchased. The request will be sent to the email address registered by the Buyer in the Account. In this way, the Buyer contributes to informing other potential Users/Customers/Buyers on the Site and is actively involved in the development of new Services and in the most complete detailing of the characteristics of the Goods.
ASSIGNMENT AND SUBCONTRACTING
The Seller may assign and/or subcontract to a third party the Services related to the fulfillment of the Order, with the Buyer's information, without the Buyer's consent being required. The Seller shall always be liable to the Buyer for all contractual obligations.
INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY LAW (IPR)
The content, as defined in the preamble, including but not limited to logos, stylized representations, commercial symbols, static images, dynamic images, text and/or multimedia content presented on the Site, are the exclusive property of Altanet, with all rights obtained in this regard directly or indirectly (through use and/or publication licenses) reserved to it.
The Client/Buyer/User is not permitted to copy, distribute, publish, transfer to third parties, modify and/or otherwise alter, use, link to, display, include any Content in any context other than the original one intended by Altanet, include any Content outside the Site, remove the signs signifying Altanet's copyright on the Content as well as participate in the transfer, sale, distribution of materials created by reproducing, modifying or displaying the Content, except with the express written consent of Altanet.
Any Content to which the Client/Buyer/User has and/or obtains access by any means is subject to the Document, if the Content is not accompanied by a specific and valid user agreement concluded between Altanet and it, and without any implicit or express warranty formulated by Altanet with reference to that Content.
The Customer/Buyer/User may copy, transfer and/or use the Content only for personal or non-commercial purposes, only if these do not conflict with the provisions of the Document.
If Altanet grants the Client/Buyer/User the right to use, in the form described in a separate user agreement, a certain content, to which the Client/Buyer/User has or obtains access pursuant to this agreement, this right extends only to that content or contents defined in the agreement, only for the duration of its or these contents' existence on the site or the period defined in the agreement, according to the defined conditions, if they exist and do not represent a contractual commitment on the part of Altanet for the respective Client/Buyer/User or any other third party who has/obtains access to this transferred content, by any means and who could be or is prejudiced in any way as a result of this content, during or after the expiration of the user agreement.
No Content transmitted to the Client, User or Buyer, by any means of communication (electronic, telephone, etc.) or acquired by him through access, visit and/or viewing does not constitute a contractual obligation on the part of Altanet and/or the Altanet employee/agent who mediated the transfer of Content, if any, with respect to the respective content.
Any use of the Content for purposes other than those expressly permitted by this Document or the accompanying user agreement, if any, is prohibited.
ORDER AND RETURN/CANCELATION POLICY
The Customer/Buyer can place Orders on the Site by adding the desired Goods and/or Services to the shopping cart, and then finalizing the Order by making the payment through one of the methods expressly indicated. Once added to the shopping cart, a Good and/or a Service is available for purchase to the extent that there is stock available for it. Adding a Good/Service to the shopping cart, in the absence of the Order being finalized, does not entail the registration of an order, nor the automatic reservation of the Good/Service.
By completing the Order, the Buyer agrees that all data provided by him, necessary for the purchase process, are correct, complete and true on the date of placing the Order.
By completing the Order, the Buyer consents that the Seller may contact him, by any means available/agreed upon by the Seller, in any situation in which it is necessary to contact the Buyer.
The Seller may cancel the Order placed by the Buyer, following prior notification to the Buyer, without any subsequent obligation of either party to the other or without either party being able to claim damages from the other in the following cases:
non-acceptance by the issuing bank of the Buyer's card of the transaction, in the case of online payment;
invalidation of the transaction by the card processor approved by Altanet, in the case of online payment;
the data provided by the Client/Buyer on the Site is incomplete and/or incorrect;
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the Contract, respectively to return a Good or to renounce a Service, within 14 calendar days, without invoking any reason and without incurring any costs other than those of delivery. Thus, according to GEO no. 34/2014, the period for returning a Good or renouncing a Service expires within 14 days from:
– the day on which the Buyer takes physical possession of the last Good – if the Buyer orders multiple products in a single order that will be delivered separately
– the day on which the Buyer takes physical possession of the last Good or the last part – in the case of delivery of a product consisting of several lots or parts
If the Buyer decides to withdraw from the Contract, he/she will be able to complete the online return form found on the contact page of the site.
If the Customer/Buyer requests withdrawal from the Contract within the legal withdrawal period, he/she must also return any gifts that accompanied the respective product. If the Order is paid, the Seller will reimburse the amount within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) days from the date the Buyer informs the Seller of his/her decision to withdraw from the Contract. The amount will be returned as follows:
for Orders paid by card online -> by refund to the account from which the payment was made;
for Orders paid with Op/refund/Transfer/Bank card -> by bank transfer;
for Orders paid by consumer credit -> cancellation/recalculation of installment contract.
The Seller may postpone the reimbursement of the amount until receipt of the Goods sold or until receipt of proof that they have been shipped, if he has not offered to recover the Goods himself (the latest date will be taken).
In the event that a Good and/or Service ordered by the Buyer cannot be delivered by the Seller, the latter will inform the Client/Buyer of this fact and will return the value of the Good and/or Service to the Buyer's account, within a maximum period of 7 (seven) days from the date on which the Seller became aware of this fact or from the date on which the Buyer expressly expressed his intention to terminate the Contract.

GOODS/SERVICES FOR WHICH THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL IS NOT PROVIDED
The following are exempt from the right of withdrawal from the Contract:
Service contracts, after the complete provision of the services, if the execution began with the express prior consent of the Buyer and after the Buyer confirmed that he/she has become aware of the fact that he/she will lose the right of withdrawal after the complete execution of the Contract by the Seller;
Provision of Goods and/or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market that the Seller cannot control and which may occur during the withdrawal period;
Supply of Goods made to the specifications presented by the Buyer or clearly personalized;
Supply of Goods that are susceptible to deterioration or expiration;
Supply of sealed Goods that cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons and that have been unsealed by the Buyer;
The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, by their nature, inseparably mixed with other elements;
The supply of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of conclusion of the Contract, whose delivery cannot be made before 30 (thirty) days and whose actual value depends on market fluctuations that the Seller cannot control;
Contracts where the Buyer has specifically requested the Seller to travel to his home to carry out urgent repair or maintenance work. If, on the occasion of such a visit, the Seller provides other services than those expressly requested by the Buyer or supplies Goods other than the spare parts indispensable for carrying out the maintenance or repair work, the right of withdrawal applies to those additional Services or Goods;
Providing sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer programs that have been unsealed after delivery;
Supply of newspapers, periodicals and magazines, except subscription contracts for the supply of such publications;
The provision of digital content that is not delivered on a material medium, if the provision has begun with the express prior consent of the Buyer and after the Buyer has confirmed that he has become aware of the fact that he will lose his right of withdrawal.

Privacy Policy regarding the processing of personal data
We consider ensuring the right to the protection of personal data as a fundamental commitment of altanet.ro, therefore we will dedicate all the necessary resources and efforts to process your data in full compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”), as well as with any other legislation applicable in Romania. Since one of the essential principles of this legal framework is transparency, we have prepared this document through which we wish to inform you about how we collect, use, transfer and protect your personal data when you interact with us in relation to our products and services, including through our website or through the applications available on your mobile phone.
We reserve the right to update and modify this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect any changes in the way we process your personal data or any changes in legal requirements. In the event of any such changes, we will display the modified version of the Privacy Policy on our website, which is why we ask you to periodically check the content of this Privacy Policy.
What categories of personal data do we process?

When you create an Altanet account, you provide us with: your email address, first and last name; Within your personal page (My Account) on the Altanet platform, you have the opportunity to add additional information, such as: photo, gender, nickname, mobile phone number, landline number, date of birth, education level, delivery addresses, alternative email address, bank card details, etc.; When you place an order, you provide us with information such as: the desired product, first and last name, delivery address, billing details, payment method, phone number, bank card details, etc.We may also collect and subsequently process certain information regarding your behavior while visiting our website or using the smartphone application, in order to personalize your online experience and provide you with offers tailored to your profile. We invite you to learn more about this by consulting the section on the purposes of processing below.
On our website and smartphone application we may store and collect information in cookies and similar technologies, according to the Cookie Policy.
We do not collect or otherwise process sensitive data, which are included in the General Data Protection Regulation as special categories of personal data. We also do not wish to collect or process data from minors under the age of 16.
Altanet will maintain the confidentiality of any information you provide. The disclosure of the information provided will only be possible under the conditions mentioned in this Document.
No public statement, promotion, press release or any other form of disclosure to third parties will be made by the Buyer/Client regarding the Order/Contract without the prior written consent of the Seller.
By submitting information or materials through this site, you grant the Seller unrestricted and irrevocable access to them, the right to use, reproduce, display, modify, transmit and distribute such materials or information. You also agree that the Seller may freely use, in its own interest, such information, ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques that you have sent to us through the Site will not be subject to obligations regarding the confidentiality of the information sent, unless the legislation in force provides other specifications in this regard.
DATA SECURITY INFORMATION
We are committed to ensuring the security of personal data by implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures, in accordance with industry standards. The transmission of your personal data is done using state-of-the-art encryption algorithms and we store it on secure servers, while ensuring data redundancy.
Despite the measures taken to protect your personal data, we draw your attention to the fact that the transmission of information over the Internet in general, or via other public networks, is not completely secure, and there is a risk that the data may be viewed and used by unauthorized third parties. We cannot be responsible for such vulnerabilities of systems that are not under our control.
COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATIONS
The Buyer/User/Client may at any time change their option regarding the consent given to the Seller for Commercial Communications containing general and thematic information including information regarding offers or promotions, as follows:
By changing the settings in the Account in the “My Subscriptions” section;
By accessing the unsubscribe link displayed in the Commercial Communications received from the Seller;
By contacting the Seller.
By adding Goods or Services to the Account section:
"My Cart", the Seller will send the Buyer/User Commercial Communications regarding:
- when changing the price of Goods or Services added to the “My Cart” section,
- to recommendations of Goods or Services similar to those added in the “My Cart” section,
- to the existence of Goods or Services in the “My Cart” section, and
- Stock availability of Goods or Services added to the “My Cart” section.
"Favorites", the Seller will send the Buyer/User Commercial Communications regarding:
- when changing the price of Goods or Services added to the “Favorites” section,
- to recommendations of Goods or Services similar to those added in the “Favorites” section, and
- stock availability or Services Goods added to the "Favorites" section.
Following the purchase of a Good or Service, the Seller will send the Buyer/User Commercial Communications regarding suggestions for Goods or Services recommended to be used together with the purchased Good or Service.
The Customer/User may unsubscribe, at any time, from the Commercial Communications mentioned in point 9.3. above by accessing the unsubscribe link displayed in the commercial messages received from Altanet or by contacting Altanet in this regard.
Also, in order to improve the offer of Goods and Services and the shopping experience, we will use your data to conduct market research and opinion surveys. The information obtained from these market research and opinion surveys will not be used for advertising purposes but only for those mentioned above. Your responses to market research and opinion surveys will not be associated with your identity and will not be transmitted to third parties or published. You can object to the use of data for market research and opinion surveys at any time by accessing the unsubscribe link displayed in the message or by contacting Altanet.
INVOICING – PAYMENT
The prices of the Goods displayed on the altanet.ro website include VAT and the prices of the Services displayed on the altanet.ro website do not include VAT according to the legislation in force.
The price, payment method and payment term are specified in each Order. The Seller will issue an invoice to the Buyer for the Goods and Services delivered, the Buyer's obligation being to provide all the information necessary for issuing the invoice in accordance with the legislation in force.
The Seller will send the Buyer the invoice related to the Order containing Goods and/or Services sold by Altanet, as well as for any other payments related to the Order, exclusively in electronic format, by adding the invoice to the Buyer's Account or by electronic mail, to the e-mail address mentioned by the Buyer in his Account.
For correct communication of the invoice related to the Order, the Buyer is obliged to update the data in his Account whenever necessary and to access the information and documents related to each Order, existing in the Account.
Through this method of communication, the Buyer, by accessing his Account, will have a record of the invoices issued by Altanet, being able to save and archive them at any time and in any way he wishes.
By sending the Order, the Buyer expresses his/her agreement to receive invoices in electronic format by adding them by Altanet to his/her Account via electronic mail, to the e-mail address mentioned in his/her Account.
If this information is unavailable for more than 48 (forty-eight) hours in the Account, please notify us of this issue at the email address: [email protected].
Payment via PaybyClick is a fast way to pay online with a card, which consists of making the payment with a single click by using the Token associated with the card, without the need to enter the payment card details for each Transaction.
In certain cases, to maintain the security of Transactions, upon registration of the Order, the Buyer will be asked to authorize the payment by re-entering the password associated with the Account or using the fingerprint in the case of mobile terminals that have this facility.
For Transaction security reasons, the User/Buyer is advised not to remain logged in to the Site and not to set the automatic login option on mobile devices. Disclosure of the account access password is not permitted and it is recommended to use a password with strong security features (e.g., containing at least eight characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and special characters).
The Customer/User/Buyer can enter the data of several payment cards they own, for which the PaybyClick payment option can be activated, with a Token associated for each payment card. Also, the User/Buyer can delete any Token at any time, thus deactivating the PaybyClick service.
DELIVERY OF GOODS
You can find the delivery conditions for Goods and Services sold by Altanet in the Order Delivery section.
The Seller will ensure the proper packaging of the Goods and will ensure the transmission of accompanying documents.
The Seller will deliver the Goods and Services only on the territory of Romania.
Products delivered via Rapid Courier are delivered directly to the recipient's address. Products can only be delivered within the coverage area of our courier service. If you have chosen the Rapid Courier shipping option, you will be contacted by phone to determine whether the products can be delivered to you via this method. The shipping information page will display the shipping address and billing address, the same as those declared when registering as a user of this site. You have the option to add other addresses to which the products can be shipped. It is mandatory that the data provided be identical to the data in the recipient's identity document.
In order for the shipment to be made in the shortest possible time and under the best conditions, we recommend that you choose a shipping address where we are sure that we can find you for the delivery of the products. Thus, since the shipping schedule is generally between 10 am and 5 pm, on weekdays, you can choose to have the products delivered to the address where you carry out your activity (for example: at work) during this time interval.
Duration – The order will be taken and sent for shipment by us within a maximum of 24 business hours from the confirmation of the stock availability of the ordered products. The shipment will be made within a maximum of 48 business hours via the shipping option via Courier Rapid.
Note: For orders over 500 RON, delivery is FREE!
Taxes: For orders less than 500 RON, the shipping cost is 25 RON via the Rapid Courier shipping option.
Note: The shipping costs mentioned above are calculated according to the courier company's rates, for a weight of up to 1 kg of the parcel with the ordered products. For parcels exceeding this weight, we reserve the right to recalculate these costs. Thus, 1.2 RON will be added to the shipping costs mentioned above for each additional Kg or fraction of Kg. The exact value of the shipping fees will be communicated to you upon confirmation of delivery, when the values of the weight and volume of the ordered products are known.
If the delivery address is not in the area covered by the express courier service, delivery will be made through the Romanian Post.
These products can reach any location in the country. The delivery time is 5-7 working days. If you have chosen the shipping option via the Romanian Post parcel service, you will receive a notification in your mailbox to pick up the package. You must go to the Post Office where, presenting your identity document and paying the value of the package, you can pick up your products. If you do not receive the notification in your mailbox, we recommend that you check with your local Post Office to confirm receipt of the package within 3-5 days from the moment you were informed by email that the package has been delivered.
ATTENTION! Parcels are kept at the Post Office for only 10 (ten) calendar days after which they are returned. Parcels returned for non-collection do not exempt you from paying the round-trip postal fees, i.e. 15 + 15 = 30 RON.
Duration – The order will be taken over and sent for shipment by us within a maximum of 24 working hours from the confirmation of the stock availability of the ordered products. The shipment will be made within a maximum of 4-7 working days to any place in Romania (according to the Romanian Post) through the Romanian Post parcel service.
Note: For orders over 500 RON, delivery is FREE!
Taxes: For orders less than 500 RON, the shipping cost is 20 RON in the country and 15 RON in Craiova.
GUARANTEES
All Goods sold by Altanet, except for resealed Goods, benefit from warranty conditions in accordance with the legislation in force and the commercial policies of the manufacturers. The Goods are new (except for resealed Goods), in original packaging and come from sources authorized by each manufacturer.
In the case of Goods sold and delivered by Altanet, warranty certificates are issued directly by the manufacturer.
For correct communication of the warranty certificate related to the Goods in the Order, the Buyer is obliged to update the data in his Account whenever necessary and to access the information and documents related to each Order, existing in the Account.
Through this method of communication, the Buyer, by accessing his Account on altanet.ro, will have a record of the warranty certificates issued by Altanet, being able to save and archive them at any time and in any way he wishes.
If this information is unavailable for 48 (forty-eight) hours in the customer account, please notify us of this issue at the email address: [email protected].
In the case of manufacturer-issued warranty certificates, the defective Product claimed during the warranty period must be presented directly to the nearest service center mentioned in the certificate. This center authorized by the manufacturer will take full responsibility for resolving the warranty.
The lack of the warranty certificate of the Good must be reported within a maximum of 48 (forty-eight) hours from the receipt of the Good to the address [email protected]. Any subsequent notification will not be taken into account.
In the case of resealed Goods, the warranty certificate is issued by Altanet, and the warranty may cover a different period than the warranty period of the same new, sealed Good. The warranty period is specified in the warranty certificate for each resealed Good separately. The conditions of use, handling and transportation of a resealed Good are the same as those of sealed products and benefit from the same services unless otherwise stipulated on the product page.
TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF GOODS
Ownership of the Goods will be transferred upon delivery, after payment by the Buyer at the location indicated in the Order (meaning delivery - signing the receipt of the transport document provided by the courier or signing the receipt on the tax invoice in the case of deliveries made by the Seller's staff).
LIABILITY
The Seller cannot be held liable for damages of any kind that the Buyer or any third party may suffer as a result of the Seller's performance of any of its obligations under the Order and for damages resulting from the use of the Goods and Services after delivery and in particular for their loss.
By creating and using the Account, the User/Buyer assumes responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of the Account data (username and password) and for managing access to the Account, and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, is responsible for the activity carried out through his/her Account.
By creating the Account and/or using the Content and/or placing Orders, the Client/User/Buyer expressly and unequivocally accepts the Terms and Conditions of the Site in the latest updated version that is communicated within the Site, existing on the date of creating the Account and/or using the content and/or on the date of placing the Order.
The Seller reserves the right to periodically update and modify the Terms and Conditions of the Site to reflect any changes in the way and conditions of operation of the Site or any changes in legal requirements. The Document is binding on Customers / Users / Buyers from the moment of its display on the Site. In the event of any such change, we will display the modified version of the Document on the Site, which is why we ask you to periodically check the content of this Document.
WRITING REVIEWS, COMMENTS, QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Reviews, Comments, Questions and Answers can be written by Users/Customers/Buyers in the “Customer Questions and Answers” and “Reviews” sections. The information entered can be both positive and negative, and will refer to the characteristics and how to use a product or service.
When registering a particular Review/Comment/Question/Answer on the Site, Users/Customers/Buyers grant the Seller a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, territorially unlimited license and give the Seller the right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute and display this content.
Each User/Client/Buyer, when registering a Review/Comment/Question/Answer in the mentioned sections, undertakes to comply with the following rules:
- to refer only to the characteristics and/or method of use of a certain product or service, avoiding information related to aspects that may change (price or promotional offers) or information related to the way the Order is carried out;
- use only the Romanian language. Words or expressions that, although not considered Romanian, are widely used in all environments related to the respective field are also allowed (e.g.: mouse, notebook, plug and play);
- to use appropriate, non-offensive language, without terms that may offend or affect any other User/Client/Buyer;
- to ensure the correct classification of the content entered on the Site as follows: any Question will be entered in the "Customer Questions and Answers" section and any Review will be entered in the "Reviews" section;
- to ensure that the information entered by them is realistic, accurate, non-misleading and in accordance with applicable laws, thus respecting the rights of other parties, including copyright, trademark, license or other property rights, publicity or privacy;
- to use this facility only to communicate or obtain additional details regarding a specific product or service on the Site without referring to other companies that promote the sale and purchase of products or services;
- not to provide or request, in any way and to any extent, personal data (contact details, information about delivery or home address, telephone numbers, email addresses, name and/or surname, etc.) or any other information that may lead to the disclosure of such personal data;
- not to enter information and/or details about URLs (links) from other commercial sites that carry out the same commercial activity as the Seller;
- not to attempt to defraud the services provided by the Seller or to post Reviews/Comments/Questions/Answers that contain advertising materials;
- not to use the Review/Comment/Question/Answer as a means of communication with the Seller, in this regard the Seller's contact details listed on the Site will be used.
In addition to a realistic critical assessment, when writing a Review, the User/Client/Buyer will also add a relevant Rating for the related product or service. Reviews, together with their corresponding Ratings, will influence the overall Rating of the product or service, a number that appears in brackets next to their title. Thus, a Review accompanied by a high Rating leads to an increase in the overall Rating, and a Review accompanied by a low Rating leads to a decrease in the overall Rating.
Users/Customers/Buyers who post Reviews to which they attach photo or video files will comply with the following rules:
- the uploaded files will contain images and/or videos that refer to the product or service for which the Review is written, ensuring that the uploaded files respect copyright;
- uploaded files will not contain violence, adult content, foul language or other content that offends a person/group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, sexual orientation or political opinion;
- the uploaded files will not contain information related to other people;
- The uploaded files will not contain URLs or watermarks to sites that carry out the same commercial activity as the Seller.
When a Review/Comment/Question or Answer is reported by a User/Client/Buyer as having inappropriate content, from a strictly subjective perspective, this content is carefully examined by the Seller to determine whether it violates the Site Terms and Conditions. The inserted texts, photos or videos are removed from the Site only after their examination by the Seller.
If the Seller finds repeated violations of the Terms and Conditions, it reserves the right to suspend the User/Client/Buyer's ability to post Reviews/Comments/Questions or Answers in the "Customer Questions and Answers" and "Reviews" sections.
For notifications or complaints related to the purchased Good and/or Service, Buyers have at their disposal the notification form on the altanet.ro Website. The maximum term for resolving complaints or notifications is 30 calendar days from their receipt.

FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its contractual obligations if such failure to perform on time and/or properly, in whole or in part, is due to a force majeure event. Force majeure is an unforeseeable event, beyond the control of the parties and which cannot be avoided.
If, within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of its occurrence, the respective event does not cease, each party will have the right to notify the other party of the full termination of the contract without either party being able to claim any other damages from the other.
APPLICABLE LAW – JURISDICTION
This contract is subject to Romanian law. Any disputes arising between the Seller and Users/Buyers will be resolved amicably or, if this is not possible, the disputes will be resolved by the competent Romanian courts.
WEEE INFORMATION
Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) may contain hazardous substances that have a negative impact on the environment and human health if not collected separately.
Considering the provisions of OUG 195/2005 - regarding environmental protection and OUG 5/2015 regarding waste electrical and electronic equipment, customers will consider the following:
Buyers are obliged not to dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) as unsorted municipal waste and to collect this WEEE separately;
The collection of this waste will be carried out through selective collection points made available to producers by the local public administration authorities which have the obligation, according to art. 5, paragraph 1) of GD 448/2005, to collect WEEE separately from private households and to make available to producers the necessary spaces for the establishment of WEEE collection points;
Customers can hand over WEEE free of charge at the collection points specified at the time of purchasing a new product in the same category; thus, Altanet applies the WEEE collection policy in a one-to-one equipment take-back system, according to the legislation in force, if the equipment handed over is equivalent and has performed the same functions as the new equipment supplied;
The symbol indicating that electrical and electronic equipment is subject to separate collection is a wheeled bin crossed out with a cross, as in the image below.
This pictogram indicates that WEEE should not be mixed with household waste and that it is subject to separate collection.
